points, weighed 190 lbs, and his official B&C net score was 203 3/8. Everette
Newland, of Denton, TX, was the happy hunter and Hiram Begert was his guide.

We are looking forward to a great hunting season. We have enjoyed
a wonderful summer with lots of rain and good grass. We have seen many really nice
bucks and lots of large coveys of quail.
Our three-day white
tail hunts cost $3500 per gun, and $100 extra for each point over 160 on Boone and
Crockett. Hunts can be organized as fair chase, from tree stands, or from fully heated,
insulated deer blinds. While you stay with us you will be lodged at our cabin, which has
been furnished with everything to make your stay pure pleasure. Nor will you have to worry
about meals--our hunting packages include the very best fare so that in between hunts
you'll have plenty of energy to stoke up your engine. Click on our recreation page for

Hunters, wildlife watchers, and game
biologists alike all agree that this part of Texas is the last great stronghold of
Bobwhite quail. If birds are your fancy, we offer three-day quail hunts for $1650 per gun.
We furnish the guide and the dogs. Our quail crop looks like one of the better ones we've
seen in years.
Remember the days when turkeys were
a rarity? Those days are no more, especially here at the ranch. We have large, thriving,
healthy populations of these magnificent birds, and our three-day turkey hunts cost $1200
per gun.
Dove hunting is also available at
the ranch.
